The Meadows Hospital
ADOLESCENT TREATMENT PROGRAM
Our
Adolescent Program was developed to meet the needs of adolescents who are
experiencing difficulties with relationships and/or behaviors at home, school or
within their peer groups. A compassionate staff provides a supportive, nurturing
and structured environment for each adolescent. The individual needs of each
adolescent are recognized and are the basis for that child's plan of treatment.
The Adolescent Program emphasizes the sense of community, strengths of patients
and each individual's place in the community. Peer support and feedback help
patients learn to respect themselves and each other. The many group and school
activities provide patients with opportunities for social interaction and
cooperation.
