CHILDREN'S TREATMENT PROGRAM
Our
Children's Program provides the intense help necessary for healthy growth and
development. The program is designed to meet the special needs of children with
behavioral health problems.

SPECIFIC FEATURES OF THE PROGRAM
INCLUDE:

Individualized treatment for children
ages 5-12

Comprehensive initial assessment and
evaluation of emotional, intellectual, social and physical needs.

Strengths based approach during
assessment and treatment

Multi-disciplinary treatment team of
psychiatrists, psychologists, psychiatric nurses, mental health
therapists, allied therapists, social workers and other clinicians.

Twenty-four hour supervision by
licensed nursing staff.

Use of a privilege based program to
help patients develop prosocial behaviors and to experience success.

Individual, group and family therapy.
-
Patient and parent involvement in
discharge planning directed toward ongoing recovery.
