Eric K. Bonsall, M.D.
Dr. Bonsall provides psychiatric service to the York and Chambersburg partial hospital programs as an independent contractor. Dr. Bonsall graduated in 1985 from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA. He has had extensive training and experience in the area of psychiatry. Dr. Bonsall's research experience is focused on Child Psychiatry and Mood Disorders in Children. He is Board-certified in General Psychiatry and also Child and Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, the Pennsylvania Psychiatric Association, the Central Pennsylvania Psychiatric Society and the Council of Rural Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He hold numerous appointments to Committees on child psychiatry throughout the Central Region. He has provided numerous presentation on topics of interest to schools and local facilities. Dr. Bonsall has provided contracted services to us since 1996.
Rashid S. Chaudhry, M.D.
Dr. Chaudhry has been providing services for the Meadows Psychiatric Center and Universal Community Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinics since the beginning of 2002. Dr. Chaudhry is a graduate of Nishtar Medical College in Pakistan and recently completed his residency program at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. He is fluent in three languages, English Urdu and Hindi. Dr Chaudhry worked in Pakistan as a medical officer before moving to the United States. He has worked in an outpatient program in India and completed an internship in psychiatry in Washington, D.C. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association. Dr. Chaudhry is the co-director of the Adult Services Inpatient Unit and provides outpatient services at the Huntingdon Outpatient Clinic and the Lewistown Outpatient Clinic.
Rocco L. Manfredi, M.D.
Dr. Manfredi provides Psychiatric service to Philipsburg and Bellefonte partial programs as an independent contractor. Dr. Manfredi is a 1983 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, Pennsylvania. He is Board-certified in General Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry. He has extensive training and professional experience. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, The Pennsylvania Medical Society, the Pennsylvania Psychiatric Association, The Pennsylvania Consortium for Mental Health and is a member of the Dauphin County Board for Mental Health/Mental Retardation. Dr. Manfredi has been a presenter for numerous workshops and panel discussions. He has co-authored numerous publications and related to psychiatry as well as book chapters. Dr. Manfredi has provided contracted services to us since 1996.
Nalin G. Patel, M.D.
Dr. Patel is a 1977 graduate of Gujurat University, India. While in India, he completed a Residency in Pediatrics at Gujurat University. He is Board - certified in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board for Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Patel completed a Residency in Adult Psychiatry and also in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Mount Sinai City Hospital in Elmhurst, New York. He is the Director of the Adolescent Program for the Meadows Psychiatric Center and Director of the Meadows Outpatient Clinics. Dr. Patel came to the Meadows Psychiatric Center in August 1997 from First Priority Hospital in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Dr. Patel was in India for a brief period of time. While there, he served as an Honorary Consultant to schools and also had private practice in Adult and Child Psychiatry. Dr. Patel is Medical Director of the Residential Treatment Facility and Medical Director of the facility.
Cyril M. Puhalla, MD
Dr. Puhalla provides psychiatric services at several Universal Community Behavioral Health Outpatient programs. He rejoins the facility after previously been here from 1988 to 1999 on the adult unit. Dr. Puhalla is a graduate of the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa. He is board certified in Adult Psychiatry and in Child and Adolescent psychiatry. Prior to this position, he was medical director of the Children Service Center in Wilkes Barre. He has experience in providing inpatient and outpatient services, and has served as a psychiatric consultant in a variety of ways.
Craig G. Richman, M.D.
Dr. Richman is a 1988 graduate of Thomas Jefferson Medical College of Philadelphia, PA from Erie, PA where he was President and Director of Presque Isle Psychiatric Associates. Dr. Richman has an interest in Geriatrics and completed a Residency and a Fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry in 1992 at the Eastern Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute, Medical Colleges of Pennsylvania. Dr. Richman also completed a Fellowship in Electroconvulsive Therapy at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC in 1992. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the Pennsylvania Medical Society and is a Delegate to the House of Delegates, a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the Pennsylvania Psychiatric Society. Dr. Richman is also an accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Dr. Richman is the Director of the Stabilization Unit Program at the Meadows and provides services to the Meadows and Outpatient Clinics.
