THE STABILIZATION PROGRAM
The
Stabilization Program provides individualized quality care for acutely mentally
ill consumers. The goal is to stabilize acute symptoms quickly and efficiently
so the patient may step down to a less restrictive environment.

SPECIFIC FEATURES OF THE PROGRAM
INCLUDE:

Treatment for individuals over the age
of 18.

Individualized treatment plans.

Therapeutic and educational groups.

High staff to patient ratio that
provides constant assessment.

Individual, group and family therapy.

Pharmacotherapy when indicated.

Active involvement with family or
significant others.

Coordination of care with referral
sources, aftercare providers, and community supports to continue the
process of recovery.

Twenty-four hour physician and nursing
care.

Comprehensive initial assessment and
evaluation of emotional, intellectual, social and physical needs.

Strengths based approach during
assessment and treatment.

Multi-disciplinary treatment team of
psychiatrists, psychologists, psychiatric nurses, mental health
therapists, allied therapists and other licensed clinicians.
