The Meadows Staff
Ann Wayne, RN
Ms. Wayne is responsible for the oversight of nursing and clinical operations including leadership of the regulatory and risk departments. She has more than 15 years in behavioral healthcare in a variety of settings. Ms. Wayne subscribes to teamwork, integrity and strives for excellence in patient care.
Chief Financial Officer
David graduated with his degree from the University of Arizona and has previously been employed as CFO with St. John's Hospital in Houston and as CFO with Harris County Mental Health/Retardation Association. David brings both hospital based and community based experience to our door. His philosophy is that "the Accounting Team works for the direct care staff" and looks forward to continuing to grow our business.
Craig Richman, M.D.
Dr. Richman brings over 24 years of experience which includes his work with Outpatient services, Residential services, Geriatric services and Inpatient psychiatric services. Dr. Richman is a leader in the person-centered approach to treatment and leads the medical staff to ensure every component of care embraces the path toward recovery. Dr. Richman states "We aim to provide a safe place to begin recovery. I work to provide leadership to the medical staff and to provide competent, compassionate, professional care. Treating our patients well will ensure the mission of the hospital."
Mary Jane Schreffler
Director of HR
Mary Jane Schreffler is a Pennsylvania State University graduate and holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification. She comes to The Meadows/UCBH from her previous employment as Vice President of Human Resources for API Technologies Corp. Prior to her role with API, Mary Jane served as the Executive Director of Human Resource for Spectrum Control, Inc. Mary Jane is versed in multiple state and global human resource practices and employment laws.
Director of Nursing
Ms. Thies is a resident of Centre County and a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University with a varied nursing background including behavioral health, long term care, ambulatory care, and intensive care spanning almost 20 years. Values that Dana holds dear are personal integrity and accountability and is hoping to foster a culture of mutual respect, teamwork, and dedication to Service Excellence.
Chris Knarr, MA
Director of UCBH Outpatient
Mr. Knarr has been employed by The Meadows/UCBH for 15 years starting his career as a Mental Health Technician on our Children’s Unit but has also served as a Social Service Therapist and Interim Director of Clinical Services before joining UCBH as Director of Outpatient Services. Chris oversees all three locations for UCBH Outpatient and his goal is to provide the communities we serve with exceptional outpatient services with access to diverse treatments in a rural setting.
